EHang Holdings (EH) said Thursday it has formed a partnership with the People's Government of Fangshan District in Beijing to advance low-altitude emergency rescue efforts.
Under the agreement, EHang, an air mobility provider that produces pilotless electrical vertical take-off and landing aircraft, will establish its national emergency equipment headquarters in Fangshan, which will coordinate funds to support the initiative, the company said.
The company and the district government will also develop emergency response protocols for urban firefighting, forest fire extinguishing, industrial accident rescue, and disaster relief, the company said.
