Operations at Wilton Resources' (SGX:5F7) Ciemas Gold Project in Indonesia remained suspended due to continued power outage amidst heavy rainfall caused by the La Nina phenomenon, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Wednesday.
The processing facility currently has no access to fuel to power the backup generators. Moreover, damage to roads has prevented vendors from delivering supplies.
The oil and gas exploration company previously disclosed that no infrastructure damage was reported due to the rainfall. Heavy rain is forecast to continue until April 2025.
