Compass Diversified Holdings has completed the sale of Ergobaby, its majority-owned baby-carrier company, to a private equity firm for an undisclosed amount.
The portfolio company that owns middle-market businesses ranging from Sterno to Primaloft on Monday said it has divested The Ergo Baby Carrier, better known as Ergobaby, to Dallas-based Highlander Partners.
Proceeds from the deal will be used to pay down debt and for general corporate purposes, the company said.
"We are excited for our next chapter and feel we are well-positioned for continued success with Highlander," Ergobaby Chief Executive Jason Frame said.
