Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies (WAB) said Monday it has acquired Bloom Engineering, an industrial heating technologies provider, for $69 million in cash.
The company said the acquisition will strengthen its heat transfer and energy solutions portfolio.
Westinghouse Air Brake said Bloom will join its Freight and Industrial Components Group, with the deal expected to be immediately accretive to earnings per share, excluding transaction costs.
