Shenzhen Expressway Corporation Limited and its subsidiary, Shenzhen Investment Holdings Bay Area Development (HKG:0737) said the toll adjustment for freight vehicles on the Guangshen Coastal Expressway will end on Dec. 31, according to its Monday filing.
From March 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2024, freight vehicles were charged at 50% of the standard toll rate, with Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Bureau compensating the waived amount.
This agreement, involving the Coastal Company owned by both Shenzhen Expressway and Bay Area Development, will not be renewed after its expiration on Dec. 31. Consequently, the toll adjustment for the Coastal Project will cease at midnight on the same date.
