0119 GMT - Singapore shares open lower on the last trading day of the year, weighed by real estate stocks. CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust drops 1.0% and CapitaLand Investment is 1.1% lower. Sembcorp Industries declines 0.9% and Singtel is off 0.65%. Among the few gainers, Thai Beverage is 0.9% higher and ST Engineering is up 0.4%. The benchmark FTSE Straits Times Index is 0.35% lower at 3782.40. However, the index is poised to end the year higher after a marginal loss in 2023. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
