主导此次重新推出的运动营养品牌Redcon1表示,由于其过去的声誉,它将被营销为一种怀旧饮料。
Redcon1的首席营销官瑞安·莫纳汉(Ryan Monahan)称:”有一种巧妙的方法可以让一些东西回归过去,但我们可以以一种非常现代的方式做到这一点。”
Jolt Cola将以16盎司为一罐,售价约为2.50美元或3美元。它将含有200毫克咖啡因,而1985年一罐12盎司的咖啡大约含有70毫克咖啡因。
这次重新发布标志着Jolt Cola在美国的第三次发布。2009年,该品牌的公司申请了破产保护。Jolt Cola将于2017年在Dollar General门店短暂重新上架,随后于2019年停止销售。
