H.B. Fuller (FUL) said Thursday it expects fiscal 2024 adjusted earnings per share of $3.84, down from a prior outlook of $4.10 to $4.20.
Analysts polled by FactSet are expecting full-year EPS of $4.15.
The adhesives company said it now expects full-year net revenue of approximately $3.57 billion. The company previously guided for net revenue growth of 2% year-over-year.
The company said it now expects adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of approximately $594 million, down from previous guidance of between $610 million and $620 million.
H.B. Fuller attributed the expected lower results to Q4 net revenue and earnings that were "adversely impacted by weaker-than-expected conditions and delayed orders," particularly related to consumer product goods and packaging. It also said delayed customer order patterns shifted price increases into fiscal 2025, and that higher raw material costs negatively impacted adjusted EBITDA.
Shares of the company were down 4.5% in recent premarket activity.
