Markforged Holding (MKFG) said Thursday that a lawsuit has been filed in relation to its proposed merger with Nano Dimension (NNDM), with Markforged named as a defendant.
The lawsuit, filed by Desktop Metal (DM) on Tuesday, claims that Nano breached its agreement with Desktop Metal by entering into the merger agreement with Markforged.
Desktop Metal seeks an injunction to prevent the merger from closing before its own deal with Nano is completed, Markforged said.
Markforged said it believes the claims are "without merit" and intends to defend itself "vigorously."
Nano Dimension and Desktop Metal did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
