Summit Minerals (ASX:SUM) suspended its maiden drilling program at the Barra lithium project in Brazil due to mechanical drill rig issues, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company completed 24 meters of drilling before suspending activities due to a hydraulic pump failure, the filing said.
The company plans to reassess the program in the first quarter of the year, while first-stage drilling permits for the Equador project are also on track for approval in the first quarter of the year, according to the filing.
