Odaily星球日报讯 据 CoinDesk 报道，汽车交易服务商 Cango 于 11 月进军比特币挖矿领域，该公司斥资 4 亿美元获得了 50 EH/s 的算力，立即成为全球最大的矿商之一。比特币的算力目前徘徊在 823 EH/s，一旦 Cango 的 50 EH/s 完全上线，将提供比特币背后约 6%的算力。作为参考，全球最大的上市矿商 MARA Holdings (MARA)拥有略高于 47 EH/s 的算力，第二大的 CleanSpark (CLSK)和 Riot Platforms (RIOT)分别为 32 EH/s 和 26 EH/s。 Cango 高级通讯总监 Juliet Ye 表示，“我想这对于（比特币挖矿）行业的人们来说是令人惊讶的，因为之前没有人听说过 Cango，但 Cango 的历史就是一部适应的历史。自 2010 年公司成立以来，我们至少已经进军不同领域两到三次。”获得如此庞大的比特币挖矿算力并不便宜。Cango 以 2.56 亿美元现金从比特币矿机制造商 Bitmain 处购买了首批 32 EH/s 的算力，并将为剩余的 18 EH/s 增发价值 1.44 亿美元的股票。
