新鸿基地产(00016.HK) 宣布，与威立雅及中信泰富共同参与的本港首个私人发展堆填区太阳能发电场，日前举行动土仪式，响应特区政府的《气候行动蓝图2050》，项目预计于今年上半年开始供电。
太阳能发电场坐落于将军澳新界东南堆填区的斜坡上，由威立雅、新地及中信泰富合组的联营公司翠谷工程负责营运，预计每年可产生120万度电力，足以满足约360户家庭一年的用电需要。该发电场以太阳能取代化石燃料发电，令碳排放每年减少约468吨，大概相当于2万棵树的二氧化碳吸收量。
集团执行董事郭基泓表示，新地除负责该项目的土木和建筑工程部分外，集团旗下数据中心服务商新意网亦将认购与该发电场百分百挂钩的中电“可再生能源证书”，此安排促成旗下公司使用由集团合资联营的太阳能发电场所生产的绿色电力。
他又指，新地或会在规划中的土地或堆填区等用地，发展更多大规模的太阳能发电场，以实现可持续未来。另外，集团旗下64个拥有或管理的物业，于去年6月底已设置超过1.65万块太阳能板，预料至本年底旗下管理物业所设置太阳能板数量可增至逾2万块。(gc/w)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。沽空资料截至 2024-12-31 12:25。)
