Currenc Group launched a search for a new chief financial officer after Haggai Ravid resigned from the position, effective this past Tuesday.

Chief Executive Ronnie Ka Wah Hui will serve as CFO on an interim basis until a permanent successor is appointed, the fintech banking platform said Thursday.

The company said Ravid's resignation didn't result from a disagreement with respect to accounting. Ravid will receive a lump sum payment representing his final salary, and will be granted more than 22,000 of the company's ordinary shares, according to a regulatory filing.
