GCL New Energy's US Unit Sells Interests in Solar Farm Companies for $13.8 Million

GCL New Energy Holdings' (HKG:0451) US unit GCL New Energy, Inc. will sell membership interests in 11 photovoltaic power companies to Wilson Solar for $13.8 million.

The companies up for sale include GCL New Energy NC, Mount Olive Lessee, GCL New Energy (NC) I, Jackson Solar Farm, and Wilson Solar Farm 1 to 7, according to a Dec. 31 filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

The Wilson Solar Farms and the Jackson Solar Farm have one solar power facility each ranging from 4.333 megawatts to 12.665 megawatts, the filing said.
