2232 GMT -- Australian stocks are poised for a soft start, taking cues from Wall Street where U.S. stocks fell on the final day of 2024. ASX futures are down by 0.9%, suggesting the country's benchmark index could spend a third consecutive session in the red. Ahead of the bell, Lendlease agrees to sell its U.K. construction business to Atlas Holdings for GBP35 million and cobalt company Jervois Global signs a recapitalization agreement with Millstreet Capital Management.
