Triton Minerals (ASX:TON) has received and cleared an AU$3 million payment from Shandong Yulong Group, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The receipt is the first tranche of a second payment from the Group, part of an AU$17 million deal to acquire 70% of Triton's Mozambique graphite assets.
The company said it has executed a Deed of Amendment to its Share Sale and Purchase Agreement with Shandong Yulong.
The amendment stipulates that the Group will pay AU$2.95 million to complete the second payment within three business days of Triton notifying Yulong of shareholder approval, or earlier if required by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the filing added.
