Pennant Group Names CEO Guerisoli as Board Chairman

Pennant Group named Chief Executive Brent Guerisoli as board chairman, succeeding Barry Smith.

The operator of home health, hospice and senior living homes on Thursday said it also named Scott Lamb as lead independent director. The appointments went into effect Jan. 1.

Both Guerisoli and Lamb had already been on the board. Smith, who has been board chairman since February 2023, will remain on the board, serving as chair of the nominating and corporate governance committee.

Gureisoli has been with Pennant since 2012 and served as CEO since 2022.
