Newlink Technology (HKG:9600), along with its subsidiary Neusoft Yuetong, Tian Weihai, and Neusoft Venture Capital, signed a compensation agreement addressing potential losses from a technology service contract dispute, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Neusoft Yuetong has been attempting to recover service payments from an independent third-party customer as part of a technology service contract between the two parties.
Given the risk of non-recovery, Tian and Neusoft Venture Capital agreed to pay 4.6 million yuan to cover actual losses incurred, as they were responsible for Neusoft Yuetong's operations and decisions at the time of the contract's signing and execution.
