Ganfeng Lithium (SHE:002460, HKG:1772) agreed to provide up to $50 million for the financing and construction of Mali's power stations, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Thursday.
The lithium company will also construct the Safo 50 Mega watt-crête solar power generation and 25-megawatt-hour energy storage power station.
The projects are part of the tripartite agreement between the company, the Mali government and China Hydropower Construction Group, the disclosure added.
Ganfeng Lithium's Shenzhen and Hong Kong shares slipped less than 2% in recent trade.
