Adobe Says US Online Spending Hit Record $241.4 Billion in 2024 Holiday Season

Adobe (ADBE) said Tuesday that US consumers spent a record $241.4 billion online from November 1 to December 31, marking an 8.7% increase year-over-year.

The company said the season saw 15 days where consumers spent over $4 billion in a single day, up from 11 days in 2023. It added that mobile shopping reached new heights, accounting for 54.5% of all online transactions, up from 51.1% last year.

Christmas day saw the highest mobile shopping volume, driving 65% of online sales, Adobe said.
