Lithium Americas has hired Luke Colton as the lithium miner's top finance executive.
Lithium Americas on Tuesday said Colton, most recently finance chief of Minova International, joins the Vancouver, British Colombia, company as executive vice president and chief financial officer on Jan. 29.
The company said Colton will receive an annual base salary of $400,000 and will be eligible for annual short-term and long-term incentive bonuses each with a target of 75% of his base pay.
Lithium Americas said April Hashimoto, who has stepped in as interim chief financial officer in November following the departure of Pablo Mercado, will resume her role as senior vice president of finance and administration.
