Consumer stocks were mixed Monday afternoon, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) shedding 0.6% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) adding 0.1%.
In corporate news, Walt Disney (DIS) agreed to merge its Hulu + Live TV business with FuboTV (FUBO) in a deal that will give Disney a 70% stake in its streaming peer and settle litigation related to the proposed Venu Sports venture. Disney shares rose 0.5%, and FuboTV soared 246%.
Lucid (LCID) shares popped 4.7% after it said Monday that it produced 3,386 vehicles in Q4 and delivered 3,099, while for the full year it produced 9,029 vehicles and delivered 10,241.
Real Good Food (RGF) said Monday it received a notice from the Nasdaq stating that its securities will be suspended from trading on Tuesday and will subsequently be delisted. Its shares fell past 51%.
