Dongfeng Motor Group Posts Higher Sales, Production in December

Dongfeng Motor Group (HKG:0489) sold 193,137 vehicles in December, up from 171,658 units in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong Exchange filing.

Production volume in December stood at 200,228 units, up from 182,015 units a year earlier.

Dongfeng Motor produced 40,373 new energy vehicles during the month, up from 28,542 units last year, and sold 43,031 units, also up from 29,347 units a year ago.

Dongfeng Motor Corporation, the company's parent firm, saw total sales of about 2.5 million units for the whole year 2024, marking a 2.5% year-on-year increase.

Meanwhile, unit Dongfeng Automobile's (SHA:600006) sales from January to December increased by 2.5% year on year to 155,003 units.
