0943 GMT - Nvidia and Micron Technology shares are up in Tuesday premarket trade, extending their gains from Monday after Taiwan's Foxconn posted record quarterly revenue amid strong demand for artificial intelligence. Nvidia shares closed 3.4% higher on Monday at $149.43 and are up 1.2% Tuesday premarket. Micron Technology closed more than 10% higher on Monday at $99.26 and its stock is up 4.4% Tuesday premarket. Global semiconductor stocks rallied after Foxconn's fourth-quarter sales exceeded analysts' expectations and the company forecast significant growth in first-quarter sales. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
