Ansys (ANSS) and Synopsys (SNPS) said Monday that Ansys has agreed to sell its PowerArtist business to Keysight Technologies (KEYS).
The terms of the deal weren't provided.
The deal is subject to review by regulators and the closing of Synopsys' planned acquisition of Ansys, which is pending regulatory clearance and is expected to close in H1 2025, the companies said.
Ansys and Synopsys said that they determined that the sale of PowerArtist was needed to get regulatory approval for Synopsys' planned acquisition of Ansys.
PowerArtist is a platform used by semiconductor companies for power analysis and other projects, the companies said.
