Liberty Energy (LBRT) said Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding to provide power solutions to direct current equipment supplier, DC Grid, for clients operating data center shelves and charging hubs for electric vehicle fleets.
Financial terms of a potential deal have not yet been determined, but Liberty said the companies expect to combine their respective expertise to supply low-emission power using a variety of sources, including natural gas, renewable natural gas and hydrogen.
DC Grid's modular power systems will also allow companies to scale their mobile platforms as the power needs increase, Liberty said.
