优步周二宣布已签署一项加速股票回购协议(ASR)，将回购15亿美元的普通股。加速回购是其之前宣布的70亿美元股票回购授权的一部分。
根据ASR协议，优步将向交易商支付15亿美元，并预计将收到初始交付的18578727股普通股，约占该公司预计根据ASR协议回购的普通股的80%。优步根据ASR协议回购的股份总数将基于ASR协议期限内指定日期优步普通股的成交量加权平均价格。
ASR协议下的交易预计将于2025年第一季度完成。
优步首席财务官Prashanth Mahendra Rajah表示：“进入2025年，我们的势头相当强劲，预计将继续大幅扩大我们的自由现金流，使我们能够在投资增长的同时向股东返还有意义的资本。”
“与我们的业务实力相比，我们的股票被低估了，因此我们计划在现有授权下加快回购。这一ASR代表了一种价值提升的资本配置，相当于我们市值的1%以上。”
