Star CM Holdings (HKG:6698) said Ernst & Young resigned as the auditor of the company after both parties failed to reach an agreement on the audit fee for the year ended Dec. 31, 2024, as the company looks to cut operating costs, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The company's board appointed Crowe (HK) as the new auditor until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting. All changes are effective Jan. 3, the filing added.

The company's share price was up by about 1% in early trading.
