Speaking late Monday, CEO Jensen Huang touted initiatives in areas like self-driving cars and robotics. Here's some of the follow-on action in markets.
-- Shares in Aurora Innovation, a Nvidia collaborator in self-driving trucks, and Innoviz, which specializes in automotive sensors and perception software, both jumped by double-digit percentages.
-- U.S.-listed stock in Israel's Arbe Robotics surged by more than half Monday, and rose further Tuesday. Arbe is working with Nvidia on radar technology for self-driving cars.
-- Kion shares rose about 10%, after the German forklift maker said it, Nvidia and Accenture are working on AI-powered warehouse simulations to optimize supply chains. Accenture rose nearly 3%.
-- Shares in Micron Technology rallied more than 3% after Huang said the memory-chip maker was helping Nvidia with new gaming chips.
-- Stock in other Nvidia partners also rose, including Swiss tech company Logitech; Taiwanese chip maker Mediatek; and Japanese automaker Toyota.
Nvidia stock fell Tuesday, however. It had rallied to a record closing high Monday, ahead of Huang's presentation at an industry conference in Las Vegas.
