UniFirst (UNF) shares were up over 21% in recent Tuesday trading after the company said its board received and rejected Cintas' (CTAS) unsolicited and "highly conditional" offer to acquire all outstanding class B UniFirst shares for $275 per share.
UniFirst said its board reviewed the proposal in the final months of 2024 and determined that the offer is not in the best interests of the company and its shareholders.
