Centurion (SGX:OU8) is currently exploring the possibility of a proposed transaction involving the formation of a real estate investment trust, which will be listed on the Main Board of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading.
The REIT would comprise some of the group's workers and student accommodation assets, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.
Centurion is also planning to effect a dividend in specie of some of the units in the proposed trust held by the company to the shareholders of the company.
The proposed transaction is subject to market conditions, negotiations, approvals and definitive agreements.
