消息面上，1月8日，国家发展改革委、财政部发布关于2025年加力扩围实施大规模设备更新和消费品以旧换新政策的通知。其中指出，加力支持家电产品以旧换新。继续支持冰箱、洗衣机、电视、空调、电脑、热水器、家用灶具、吸油烟机等8类家电产品以旧换新，将微波炉、净水器、洗碗机、电饭煲等4类家电产品纳入补贴范围。
中金发布研报称，通过梳理历史上中国内地四轮消费品补贴政策，估算每一轮政策的财政规模，并设计了财政乘数的计算框架，估算每一轮补贴政策的当期乘数以及政策推出后2年内的累积乘数。计算显示，财政补贴当期乘数较高，对相关消费拉动力强。该行估算显示，去年四季度以旧换新补贴可能超过1,100亿元人民币，财政乘数2.8左右。今年以旧换新"加力扩围"，有可能超过2010年成为消费品补贴强度最大的一年，或对社零总额形成较为明显的提振。
