Suzhou SLAC Precision Equipment (SHE:300382) plans to expand its battery component business through US subsidiary OKL Engineering.
The company plans to introduce production lines for square and cylindrical battery shells under the SPE Battery business, according to a Wednesday filing with Shenzhen bourse.
Shares of the high-end equipment producer were down 5% in recent trade.
