Rept Battero Energy (HKG:0666) plans to construct a battery factory in Indonesia for research and development of lithium-ion batteries, battery components, modules, and battery packs, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The company intends to carry out the construction of the new factory through its Indonesian subsidiary PT Rept Battero Indonesia and for this purpose, the capital of the said subsidiary will be increased by $139.5 million.
Upon the completion, the shareholding of the company in the said subsidiary will remain unchanged.
