GF Securities (HKG:1776, SHE:000776) raised the capital of subsidiary GF Holdings (Hong Kong) by HK$2.14 billion, bringing its capital to around HK$10 billion, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Thursday.
The capital increase is part of a plan to boost GF Hong Kong's capital by HK$5.24 billion with the funds being raised from the company's Hong Kong shares.
The amount can be injected in one lump sum or in batches according to actual circumstances, the disclosure said.
GF Securities' Hong Kong shares rose more than 1% in recent trade.
