Vizsla Silver Halts Activities at Mexican Mine After Contractor Fatality

Vizsla Silver (VZLA) said Friday that a landslide at one of the exploration drill pads at the Panuco silver-gold project in Sinaloa, Mexico claimed the life of an employee of Bylsa Drilling, a contractor at the site.

A second worker was also injured and is currently in hospital in critical condition, the company said.

Activities at the project have been suspended until the cause of the incident, which occurred Thursday, is determined, Vizsla Silver said.

Vizsla Silver shares were down by nearly 1% in recent trading.
