工银亚洲表示，一直持续优化零售客户服务网络，延伸分行服务范围，为回应本港居民便捷开户和高效服务需求，将于罗湖及落马洲港铁站点内设置远程柜员机(VTM)，透过远程银行服务为全新零售客户开立银行账户。
该行表示，香港客户毋须提前预约即可于每日上午8时至晚上8时任意时间，使用香港永久居民身份证在远程客户服务专员的一对一引导下，使用VTM开立综合账户、注册网上银行及即时领取与启用提款卡，毋须手续费或即时存款，后续亦无需前往分行启动账户。而内地客户亦可持中国居民身份证、往来港澳通行证和入境标签，透过VTM使用上述服务。(gc/a)
