Pacific Edge (ASX:PEB, NZE:PEB) requested that its securities be placed in trading halt ahead of the market open on Friday until an announcement is made about the implications of a draft Local Coverage Determination (LCD) by Novitas, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.
The LCD concerns Medicare's reimbursement of the company's Cxbladder bladder cancer detection test, the filing said.
The trading halt will remain in place until the start of trading on the Australian Securities Exchange and the New Zealand Stock Exchange on Jan. 13, per the filing.
