New Zealand Shares Close Lower as Healthcare, Utility Stocks Fall -- Market Talk

0504 GMT - New Zealand's S&P/NZX 50 finished the day 0.8% lower at 12943.74, with healthcare and utility stocks leading declines. The retreat brought the benchmark index to its weakest close since Dec. 20. Ryman Healthcare posted its biggest fall among top stocks, losing 4.7%, while bank ANZ Group and Goodman Property Trust lost 2.4% and 1.9%, respectively.
