智通财经APP获悉，东亚银行(00023)首席经济师蔡永雄表示，预料美国通胀将温和放缓，但仍会高于政策目标一段时间，预期2025年上半年美联储将每季减息四分之一厘，随后减息步伐或进一步放慢，而为避免市场流动性过于紧张，预期将于2025年中前后对缩表进行调整，整体上，预测美国货币政策将继续从紧缩走向中性。他又指，2025年欧洲央行料将每季起码减息一次四分之一厘，全年减息1厘。
他表示，美国2024年经济表现再超预期，美国经济一支独秀，2024年全年增长料达2.5%，高于其趋势增速，而美国候任总统特朗普将于2025年1月上任，共和党成功夺得参众两院控制权，预料特朗普大部分的政策主张有望通过，特朗普MAGA政策主要围绕加强美国内部利益，或会对经济增长带来刺激，但亦可能加大通胀压力，并影响未来美联储减息步伐。展望2025年，美国经济将略高于趋势增长，达1.9%。
