Gryphon Digital Mining (GRYP) said Friday it signed an agreement to acquire all shares and units of Captus Generation, BowArk Energy, and Captus General Limited Partnership from Canadian companies BTG Energy, BTG Power and West Lake Energy for 24 million Canadian dollars ($16.7 million).
The agreement includes prior and additional deposits totaling CA$1.2 million, which will be applied to the purchase price at closing, according to a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company said it paid a CA$200,000 deposit in November and will pay another CA$1 million within two business days of the agreement date.
Gryphon Digital shares were 11% higher in recent trading.
