智通财经APP获悉，周五，美国电动汽车电池制造商Microvast Holdings(MVST.US)公布了其全固态电池技术发展的一个重要里程碑，受此提振，该公司股价盘前一度大涨45%。
Microvast在一份声明中表示，与传统的锂离子或半固态电池不同，公司的ASSB采用双极堆叠架构，可在单个电池单元内实现内部串联连接。
传统的锂离子和半固态电池受到液体电解质的限制，通常在每个电池3.2V至3.7V的标称电压下工作。相比之下，Microvast的技术消除了液体电解质。
根据该公司的说法，这一突破允许单个电池根据特定的应用需求实现数十伏或更高的电压。
Microvast首席执行官Yang Wu表示：“我们的固态电池创新在解决现实世界的安全和效率挑战方面取得了重大飞跃。”
