Sembcorp Industries (SGX:U96) bought back 800,000 shares in the open market on Thursday for SG$4.6 million or SG$5.70965 apiece, according to a same-day filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The energy and industrial development company has been authorized to repurchase 35.7 million shares under its current mandate. To date, it has bought 6.0 million shares.
