0734 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening slightly lower, with IG calling the OMXS30 down 0.1% at around 2547. Markets were quiet Thursday with the U.S. partially closed in honor of ex-president Jimmy Carter, SEB analysts say in a note. European stock markets generally closed in positive territory, while Asian stock markets have ticked lower this morning ahead of Friday's U.S. jobs data. Futures indicate a tentative opening in both the U.S. and Europe. "The direction of the U.S. labor market is crucial for the Federal Reserve, and any unexpected weakness (or strength) could trigger significant market reactions," SEB says. OMXS30 closed at 2549.58, OMXN40 at 2536.42 and OBX at 1379.37. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
