Financial stocks were declining premarket Monday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.4% lower recently.
The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 1.4% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.5% higher.
Blackstone (BX) is evaluating a sale of Liftoff for over $4 billion including debt, Reuters reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter. Blackstone shares were down more than 1% pre-bell.
Victory Capital Holdings (VCTR) said late Friday that its total assets under management were $171.93 billion at the end of December, down from $179.67 billion in the previous month. Victory Capital Holdings shares were up over 1% premarket, swinging from a fall of more than 3% Friday.
Artisan Partners Asset Management (APAM) shares were almost 1% lower after it reported late Friday preliminary assets under management of $161.21 billion at the end of December 2024, compared with $166.82 billion in November 2024.
