Mexican restaurant operator Alsea taps Starbucks France head as next CEO

MEXICO CITY, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Mexican restaurant operator Alsea ALSEA.MX on Monday said that its board had named Christian Gurria, who heads the firm's Starbucks SBUX.O operations in France and the Benelux region, as its next chief executive.

Alsea, which also operates chains such as Domino's Pizza DPZ.O and Burger King, added in a filing that Gurria would assume his post on July 1.
