Australian Vanadium Says Unit Secured Environmental Approval for Western Australian Project; Shares Jump 8%

Australian Vanadium's (ASX:AVL) subsidiary Technology Metals Australia secured approval from the Western Australian Minister for Environment for the environmental assessment report for the Gabanintha vanadium project, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The approval covers the development plans for key infrastructures at the project, the filing said. The company is advancing an optimized feasibility study to consolidate Gabanintha within the larger Australian vanadium project.

Company shares jumped nearly 8% in recent Monday trade.
