Duke Energy has designated its president, Harry Sideris, to succeed Lynn Good as chief executive of the energy holding company, effective April 1.

Duke on Monday said Good is retiring as CEO and board chair on that date, with lead independent director Ted Craver succeeding her as board chair.

Sideris has spent nearly three decades with Duke and became president in April 2024. Good has served as CEO of the Charlotte, N.C., company since 2013.

Craver has been a member of the Duke board since 2017.
