Chevron, Brightmark Joint Venture Begins Gas Production at 10 Midwest Projects

Chevron (CVX) shares were edging higher Thursday morning after Brightmark RNG Holdings, which is a joint venture between Chevron USA and Brightmark Fund Holdings, said it has begun gas production at 10 renewable natural gas projects in the Midwest, bringing its total operational projects in the region to 15.

The company said it is collaborating with farmers to produce renewable natural gas using anaerobic digestion, which converts organic waste into fuel. The projects are located in Iowa, Michigan, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Ohio, Brightmark RNG said.
