LG Innotek (KRX:011070) began mass-producing flip-chip ball-grid array (FC-BGA) substrates, which are designed for servers and data centers, The Korea Herald reported Sunday.
The company started production for a major North American tech client and is in discussions with other global firms. Despite limited production capacity, LG Innotek aims to expand output as new orders come in, with the goal of hitting full capacity in two to three years, the report said.
Shares of LG Innotek fell 2% in recent trade on Monday.
